21 अगस्त  कशिश के मामले में एक क्लू मिला वो ये था कि हरिद्वार निवासी पूर्व प्रधान नवाब अली, ग्राम सभा राजपुर, पो. गढ़मीरपुर, ब्लॉक बहादराबाद (हरिद्वार) का बेटा साहेब अली जो किन्ही कारणों से घर छोड़ कर चला गया था पुरानी दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेश पर 9 अगस्त को मिला और सलाम बालक ट्रस्ट के द्वारा CWC ( चाइल्ड वेलफेयर समिति) में पेश करके नवाब अली (पिता) के सुपुर्त कर दिया गया| हरिद्वार पुलिस थाने में कुछ फ्रोमेलिटी के लिए दोनों को बुलाया गया वहीँ कशिश कि फोटो पर बेटे कि नजर पड़ी और उसने अपने पिता नवाब को दिखाया पिता ने भी तुरंत पहचान लिया ये बात हरिद्वार पुलिस को पता चली तो उन्होंने नॉएडा पुलिस को इन्फॉर्म किया 22 अगस्त को हम इंस्पेक्टर राकेश शर्मा के साथ CWC (सेवा कुटीर दिल्ली) पहुँचे पर वहाँ पर कशिश का कोई रिकॉर्ड नहीं था | CWC के कर्मचारियों के बताने पर हम उन अनाथालयो मे भी गए पर कोई सुराग नहीं मिला|

तब राकेश जी और हमने निर्णय लिया कि नवाब व साहिब अली को ही बुलाया जाये | अपनी किसी परिस्थिति कि वजह से दोनों उस समय नहीं आ पाए|
5 सितम्बर को नवाब अपनी बेटे साहेब के साथ सलाम बालक ट्रस्ट (तिसहजारी)में हमको मिले वह उन्होंने बताया कि 11 अगस्त कशिश रावत भी CWC दो औरतों के साथ आई थी|
साहेब अली को लेकर सलाम बालक ट्रस्ट से सरवन नाम के कार्यकर्ता आए थे जो उन औरतों को पहचानते थे सरवन ने ही उस बच्ची का नाम पूछा था तो औरतों ने उस बच्ची का नाम कशिश रावत बताया था नवाब जी ने जानकारी दी जो मैंने रिकॉर्ड कर ली|
